Dr. Katalin Nagy

Dr. Nagy joined ImmunoGenes in 2012 as a senior scientist.  She graduated with an undergraduate degree in biology and received her PhD in Oncology from Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest. She conducted her PhD training between 2002 and 2003 at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, USA

Dr. Nagy has wide experience in cell and tissue culture and also in molecular biology techniques. As a senior scientist, she participated in several important R&D projects, was responsible for project management for other R&D projects and has already managed several monoclonal antibody development and polyclonal antibody development projects for ImmunoGenes.

Dr. Balázs Bender, Ph.D, Head of Transgenic Discovery

Dr. Bender has served as a scientist at ImmunoGenes since 2010. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in animal breeding and animal physiology and hygiene, and received his PhD in animal breeding from Szent Istvan University, Godollo. He worked as a scientist at Animal Biotechnology Institute, Agricultural Biotechnology Center. Dr. Bender has wide experience in transgenic animal technology (mice, rats and rabbits) and molecular biology techniques.

Dr. Bender is one of those few who can also maintain the rabbit population.

He has worked with transgenic animals for more than 20 years with an exceptional success rate.

He is the head of custom transgenic services. (CTS)
